What is Sincefy?
Sincefy is a countdown widget app for iPhone. Create beautiful, glanceable countdowns to any future date — birthdays, weddings, trips, exams, due dates, anniversaries — and pin them to your home screen, lock screen, or StandBy display. After the date arrives, your countdown becomes a count-up, so the moment is kept forever.
How do Sincefy widgets work?
Sincefy supports home-screen widgets in small, medium, and large sizes, plus lock-screen widgets in rectangular and circular formats. Long-press your home screen, add the Sincefy widget, then tap to choose which countdown each widget displays. Widgets update automatically as time passes and refresh instantly when you edit a countdown.
Does Sincefy work offline?
Yes. Sincefy is fully offline. Every countdown, theme, and photo background is stored on your device. No internet connection is required to create, edit, or display countdowns. The only features that need connectivity are sharing a countdown via the system share sheet and processing your subscription through the App Store.
Is Sincefy private?
Sincefy is built privacy-first. Countdown names, dates, and photos stay on your device — they are never uploaded. The app contains no advertising SDKs and no data brokers. Can countdowns become count-ups after the date arrives?
Yes — and that's a core idea behind Sincefy. When your target date passes, the countdown automatically switches to a count-up and moves into the Memories tab. The day after the wedding becomes "1 day since", then "1 month since", then "1 year since" — the moment stays with you instead of being deleted.
Which iPhones and iOS versions does Sincefy support?
Sincefy supports modern iPhones running recent versions of iOS. Lock-screen widgets, StandBy widgets, and Live Activities depend on iOS features available on supported devices. Check the App Store listing for the current minimum iOS requirement.
